But before you start, be so kind and read through some requirements and guidelines.
Submission requirements and guidelines
Below are major guidelines we use to create the content for wpcrib. If you are interested in being featured on the wpcrib blog, please follow the rules below.
Posts must be 100% original
No plagiarism! All blog posts must be unique and written in your own words. We use a plagiarism checker to make sure your posts are an original piece.
Posts must be free of advertising
This means, no self-promoting. You can mention your products but it must be appealing to our audience. We also do not allow affiliate links. The post should be about sharing your expertise, and insights that educate and reveals something new to our audience.
Post structure and formatting
Posts should be at least 1,000 words. Try to keep your paragraphs short, they are easier to understand and encourage reading in this age of information overload.
No capitalization. A title, headings, and subheadings use lowercase (e.g. “15 tips to optimize WordPress for a business”).
It is required to add an excerpt text that explains what your post is about (a summary of 1-2 sentences).
PNGs, JPGs or animated GIFs only. If you want to post a video, provide us with a thumbnail image and an external link to your uploaded video (YouTube, Vimeo, etc.);
Featured image size: 1000 pixels wide and 563 pixels tall (1000 x 563);
All in-post images should be no wider than 900px (can be less).
Make sure you own permission for the image usage or use images that hold the Public use license (ex. unsplash.com, pexels.com). You can also use your own taken images and/or screenshots;
All images must be optimized for file size (ex. use services likes kraken.io).
Provide author name, position, bio (short summary), and e-mail that is linked to the Gravatar account. You can add links to your personal social profiles: Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, Google+. Your bio will be placed right at the end of your post.
The guest post submission process
- The article should be submitted via Google Docs with the option to edit;
- Images should be represented in Google Docs and also provided separately in a .zip file;
- All necessary information mentioned above should be included in the footer of your Google Doc (your bio, main keywords, excerpt, etc.).
- Once you submit your post, we will contact you in two working days and proceed to the next step.
